International and Domestic Player Operations
The International and Domestic Player Operations department is directly involved and responsible for the following areas: International Entry, International Play, Special and Domestic Events, Joint Programs and Fund with MLB, the Players Trust, Player Programs, All-Star and Communications to Players with a focus on Latin Players. Responsibilities include Collective Bargaining Agreement compliance, as well as overall engagement and education of Players in protection of Player rights.
NOTE: The Players Trust is a Player created and operated charitable organization that enables Players to take action collectively to engage, equip, and empower the next generation of kids and aspiring baseball and softball players with programming that focuses on education, mentorship, and skill development on and off the diamond. Additionally, it supports charitable causes and philanthropic endeavors of personal importance to individual Players and the membership as a whole. Lastly, it helps the communities that Players call home and that have unforeseen difficulties or challenges.
