On behalf of the Major League Baseball Players Association, congratulations on your selection to the 2022 All Star Team! Your recognition by baseball fans around the world, and most importantly, your peers in the game, is a hard-earned and well-deserved honor.

As you prepare to travel to Los Angeles this week, we wanted to provide a quick review of the benefits you are entitled to as an All-Star Participant:

• Six (6) complimentary tickets to the All-Star Game and HR Derby for use by your guests.

• First Class airfare for you and two (2) guests.

• First Class hotel accommodations for you and two (2) guests. Up to two (2) rooms for a maximum of three (3) days.

• Regular Season Meal/Tip allowance for three (3) days ($117.50/day).

• A one thousand-dollar ($1,000) cash stipend.

• Special mementos along with merchandise that is made available by MLB business partners.

• Players on the winning team will receive $25,000.

• Players who agree to wear a two-way microphone for at least one half-inning while in the field or at bat will receive $10,000.

• Travel can be arranged through your Club traveling secretary.

 
PA staff will be present at the hotel when you arrive in Los Angeles and will be available to address any questions you might have about the details of the All-Star Events. In addition, we will be texting you a link to a confidential landing page with quick reference information – a calendar of events, location details, contact information, and talking points for media day.

The Players Association has two All Star events planned this year.

• The Players House is MLB Players, Inc. annual hospitality event for partners, players and your family/guests. The Players House is located by LA Live at Nixo’s Patio and Lounge in the E-Central Hotel (1020 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles).  Hours are Sunday 3p to midnight and both Monday and Tuesday from 10a to 4p. 

• The Players Party will be held on Monday night, starting at 9:00pm. This year’s party is being hosted in through a partnership with Fanatics and will feature performances by J.Balvin and other celebrity entertainers.  The party will be held at City Market Social (1145 San Pedro St., Los Angeles).  Digital, non-transferrable invitations are attached to this email, and include details on time, location, and admission.
